so my gasoline cost is about $3.50 a week for that. I only use my car when it rains or to drive 40 miles to visit a friend with bad arthritis every other week or so - I fill up my car once every third week or so for about $32.00.

The other thing I did was move in town from way in the hinterlands after my son graduated from high school so my overall mileage is WAY less and I'm semi-retired and do the work I do from my home.
