A friend who works for a catering company worked at a party last week in our area. It was at a gated community so posh and private that many people around here don't even know it's there. It was a party for the host's car -- a $1.2 million Bugatti. The hundred or so guests stood around the yard, sipping champagne and nibbling on caviar. The car was driven out of the garage. Everyone gathered around it and applauded. Then it was driven back into the garage, and everyone went on with their champagne and caviar. This is McCain's world.
