I posted a "let's come together" message that said, in essence, forget who you support now...let's get together in the general election for a Democrat. I was subsequently informed that I was stupid, puerile, and a shill. This went on and on.

I learned a two valuable lessons about progressives in particular and the internet in general:

1. Just because you self-identify as a Democrat, progressive or liberal doesn't make you a decent person just like being a Republican doesn't make you evil, but merely wrong about politics.

2. The internet is a breeding ground for some incredible pricks.


It was a valuable lesson. Once my head cleared and I came to those realizations, it made posting here fun again. So posters, if you agree with me, fine. If you don't, kiss my ass. I'm still fine.
