8. Small time landlords aren't often the problem
It's the big time clowns that cause most of the problems. The ones who live absentee and only show to when someone is late with the money.

However it is a slippery slope. Far better for the moral conscience to perform labor and actually DO SOMETHING for the world. You probably already have a job anyway. Again: landlord/tenant relationships always involve potential involve legalized extortion. I would avoid them if i were you.

If you are a Christian? A real one and not a phoney baloney right wing nut?.

Well there are few landlords in the hereafter. A thought to keep in mind always.

It gets more complicated with stocks and mutual fund investments. In some cases the money may involve construction projects that extort rent from poor people. Or folks of lesser means. And we also know that dividends are taxed at a lower rate than the people who really produeced and earned the wealth for the share holders.

So as an absentee landlord you almost automatically share in blame for the unpleasant condition of those who must provide the monthly fare for your rent.

It wasn't something you planted, harvested, invested saved money into or even kept maintenance of. Is pure inheritance favoring those with estate rather than the sweat of their brow.

I highly urge you to support universal healthcare and divest yourself of your rental holdings.

Eighty years on the planet is a short time. Better to remain in the book of life and yet die poor.
