Yesterday, the best President of my Lifetime gave a speech....

...the speech encompassed all of my desires for the future of America as he stood forward in the face of cynicism and doubt and clearly enunciated both his past accomplishments and future hopes for the American Ideal. And in a time of worry and financial flux he stood as a beacon of all that is right, and worthy, and true, in our country.
...That President, of course was "merely" Martin Sheen in a marathon of "West Wing" on Bravo and later that night my dream crashed to the reality of G W Bush....But it was enough to see the ideal and to know that the ideal IS A DEMOCRAT and that the rhetoric that rings most true is Democratic and it is within that rhetoric our best hopes lie.Unlike the republicans we will not raise an actor for office just because "he plays one on TV".
...So I'll vote for ANY democratic nominee, though at times I wish we picked ours like republicans.
