24. I think that a US Senator has to give a President
the benefit of the doubt... in matters of foreign policy and national security, which are, under the separation of powers, the bailiwick of the executive branch. I'm not convinced that a Senator should put personal conviction ahead of national security, just on the off chance that the President is trying to lie the nation into a war.

When a President does lie the nation into a war, the blame should fall on him.

I truly don't understand this blaming of others (and not just HRC) for what Bush did with the authority they gave him, especially when that authority was granted under false pretenses.
