Reply #4: I told them to shut up. I was getting anti-Kerry emails from 2004

from a certain relative, and I emailed them back saying I'd just come home from a Kerry rally. It was a bulk email to all their friends, so they all got a copy.
I spoke in glowing terms of being a democrat and how we had to stop the insane republican president. At the end, I said, now, how did you feel getting this email?
How do you think I feel getting your email? Please take me off your republican mailing list. I am NOT republican.
on that list, that relative's grown son wrote me to thank me, saying he wanted to say that so bad but couldn't say that to his dad.
and of course, I was harrassed by the group of reptards that were also on the list. Finally, I sent out a blanket response and explained that I consider republican emails junk mail, and I woudl HATE to have to block all correspondence from this relative but I"d have no choice, and I would miss out on their grandchildren's pictures, they would miss out on our family news, and I'd hate for that to happen.


a day later I got an apology and an email with family pictures attached and I never got another republican email from them. So I have no idea how they feel right now.
One of the things they chided me with was "how could you, as a christian, vote for Kerry?" I often wonder if they ever think "boy we voted for a torturer, liar and warmonger, I wonder what Jesus thinks of us now?"
