I don't believe in discriminating against immigrants on the grounds of health/disability, but I don't believe in discriminating against them on the grounds of poverty either, and most countries do.

And this is NOT a feature of all countries with nationalized health care. You're getting out of this story precisely what the RW Daily Hate-Mail wants people to get out of it! The UK, though it has all sorts of rules and regulations about immigration, does not discriminate on these sorts of grounds; neither do most Europaean countries, even those with very anti-immigrant general policies.
