3. Go back and read the original bill
the ones the Democrats passed, valid for six months expires soon. When that bill expires, there will be on bill except the original FISA which, I think they say the bill will sunset, don't know the exact meaning, but it means generally that the original 1978 bill would be in effect. No telecom immunity on that.

So for once bush is between a rock and hard place. He signs the new bill or he gets the old bill. Simple as that.
