which I thought immdiately when I saw her claim that Saddam had wmds that had gone to Syria. That's a neocon favorite. sounds like the psy oppers are trying to use Kelly's death to hype their agenda.

she was a 'bio-defence consultant' for the Brussels-based thinktank New Defence Agenda....The organisation, which bills itself as 'platform for discussing Nato and EU defence and security issues', names former Hong Kong Governor Chris Patten and former Nato secretary general Lord Robertson among its patrons.

But critics have called it the arms industry's 'weapon of mass disinformation' because of the partnerships it has established with companies such as BAe Systems, Lockheed Martin and Thales.

And then, the closer is this:

...If the war was really about WMD, then to be consistent we should also invade Syria," he said. (he being a guy who is
"Otherwise, it suggests that it was more about giving Saddam a bloody nose."

This said by Baker, former UK govt. official. He includes Dekker in his book... things are so convoluted at this point, who knows what is true. one thing I sincerely believe to be true is the issue that Hussein didn't have viable wmds. anything older than 3 years, I think it was, would have been virtually useless, iirc.
