It's always hard to lose a pet, but some pets hold a special niche in our hearts more than others. When I lost my psycho cat, Harley, I mourned; she was psycho but she loved me. But I wasn't torn apart. When I lost my dog Ziggy, it was like losing a child; I cried for weeks, and my SO and I broke up. So I feel for you! :hug:
As best as we can tell, Bear is mostly chocolate lab, but has some shepard and maybe some chow in him. He has a lab personality, very laid back when his puppy side isn't romping. (He's about 2 years and 2 months old, so still very puppyish.) I've wanted an airedale ever since I was a kid watching the Thin Man movies on TV. Asta!  |
