Many race in other leagues or circuits, and many are converted to leisure horses or one sort or another.

And since they have closed the last horse rendering plant in the US (or are about to), what is the benefit to the owner in killing their expensive horse? Most owners are wealthy.

I don't doubt that some horses are killed, but to equivocate horse racing with dog death matches is specious at best, but really, after reading your post, you are trying to draw a racial issue where there just ISN'T one. If Payton Manning had done this, he too would be in DEEP shit.
