The more that this comes to light the more rediculous it is that people piss all over Kerry for "losing" the election, or assert that some other candidate could have won. Any Dem, ANY Dem, would have faced practically insurmountable obstacles in 2004 the likes of which had, as this article indidcates, not been seen before. *This* is why the Bin Laden tape came out right before the election, etc. These were challenges no challenger's campaign had ever faced before. Couple that with the constant atmosphere of fear and war, I'm still surprised we came as close as we did.
