Watch what you say, and I will watch what I say. Deal? Thank you for saying please, though. that was thoughtful.

I won't "rail" at an entire nationality, like you might, in your wisdom...but I will mention any historical facts I deem to be germane to a discussion. Key here is factuality, context and tone.
I don't discuss Nazi ties in the midst of a dialog about oh, global warming, say.

That is because I am sane.

Any other tips on how we should discuss health care or living wages or international terrorism without using any historical context at all? When I think of issues, history is too important to ignore. This is like RWers and science - they self-censor to the point of willful ignorance. That causes for very bad government.

In my opinion, of course.
