73. I think he's too proud to admit he was wrong, so now he amps it up even more.
When he first came out as a Bush-lover, he claimed to still be an "independent" but that he thought Bush was right about cleaning up the Ay-rab world for our protection.

But now it seems like he's using his tortured jokes and obscure pseudointellectual references to to push every GOP meme under the sun. His behavior is that of a person who realizes that he was dead wrong, but is too stubborn and prideful to admit it so he's gone even more vehemently right-wing.

His appearances on that sad Daily Show knockoff truly reek of desperation.
