Here's a Question (or an Idea): Could Bush and/or Cheney be removed due to them being INSANE???

Sorry, I hate using the word "insane," but I couldn't fit the longer, more politically correct "Could Bush and/or Cheney be removed due to the fact that they are psychopathic liars and have lost all touch with reality and or any sense of the "will of the People..." (or something along those lines) in the space for the headline.

Isn't there SOMETHING along those lines, written into the Constitution or legal precedence, that would help us out of this Constitutional Crisis?!? :shrug: Please note that this would be slightly different from the more common, but often misunderstood, process of "Impeachment," which is actually only the passage of, by the House of Representatives, a final list of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors," which is then sent to the Senate for further action. So is there a process for removal of "The President" or Vice-President for non-criminal, but mentally incapable reasons?

I mean, if you accept what some here say (and most Republicans say they believe) that Bush/Cheney are NOT habitual liars, just "leaders" who "...know something that only they know..." What that is, I haven't a clue.

Personally, I think it could be argued that they are just caught in such a complex web of lies, they know longer know what the truth is. So, at what point does a liar lie so much that they lose all touch with reality and no longer know what the truth is? And does that inability to distinguish or understand the truth ever cross the reality/non-reality line to become clinical or psychosis?

I probably don't have the the clinical diagnosis correct, so if you can come up with (or make up) a better analysis of these two, feel free to add your diagnosis. I feel they are clearly psychopathic liars, at least, though both demonstrate a lack of empathy or remorse for all the deaths, both directly (70 pen raised Quayle on single "Hunting Trip" and record # of Texas and Federal Executions) and indirectly (300,000-500,000+ Iraqis, 3000+ U.S. Troops, so far) that their actions and decisions have caused, you could probably add killers to the list too, but I'm not doctor and don't claim to be an expert.

AND, even if this wouldn't result in Bush/Cheney's removal from office, would starting a debate, in this 24/7 Cable "news" cycle world, be worth pushing the "Bush/Cheney (and Republicans in general) lie about everything and/or have lost touch with reality..." debate, to try to get Fox "news" and the so-called MSM, back on the defensive, forcing them to defend and explain how these are not the actions of "leaders" who should be removed?


NOTE: I do know the difference between a person with a medically treatable "Mental Illness" (like Mania, Depression, Bi-polar, Schizophrenia, etc.) which are currently treatable, or are conditions that we are currently learning how to treat with the current and emerging medications and treatment methods, and a psychopath (the Charles Manson and/or serial killer type person) who, if truly a psychopath, are not currently treatable with the current medications. Several members of my family are currently in treatment, including my Brother, who, for 30 years, struggled to find the correct treatments for him to live a normal life. The last five (5) years, he has been doing fairly well with his current treatments.
