...the only way to combat the deep 'ideological institutionalization' taking place in our national and government institutions is to maintain constant, active and unapologetic grassroots attention to the issue.

These folks are thugs, and punks... and a few of them are devilishly clever... but when I feel down I reflect on my favorite MLK quote, from his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech in 1964:

"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant."

I'm proud to be in this most American of struggles, along with the many 'regular-joe' heroes of the DU community. :)
