kinking, it would have to cut in a circular motion around the pipe, or inward, somehow keeping equal pressure on the pipe at all times. I've just started watching this in the last hour so I have no idea what is supposed to happen and I'm sure I'm probably way off base. I just can't imagine cutting straight through in any one direction without risking more damage to the pipe.
