Cheap Channel got out of TV years ago...they're barely keeping their radio empire afloat...Discovery Communications own the Discovery Channel (as well as TLC, Animal Planet and Food Channel) and Discovery Communications is controlled by Discovery Investment Corporation (they bury these things good these days):

The big money is John Malone...bigwig in Comcast and Sirius/XM...also interested in taking over NBC.
