69. I don't need more stuff.
The children in our family get to help other children in the world through Oxfam International. We buy worms, chicks and goats to give to others. Their other aunts and uncles buy them breakable stuff and I do send them books throughout the year when I come across something that is well done and in their range of interests. We have over 60 nieces and nephews (no children of our own) and I wouldn't dream of wasting money on crap. We help feed the homeless, we help stock food banks, we help clothe the needy. Black Friday is unsettling to me. A few relatives think I'm cheap but I don't care. I don't have unlimited resources so I try to give what is needed instead of trying to buy love on credit.
