31. And most democrats don't have the slightest idea how to get their point across because...
...they wouldn't know street theater, marketing, PR, message delivery or media manipulation if it came over and pissed on their $500 shoes.

Consider the SCHIP debacle. Their "strategic advisers" are about as strategic as a buggy whip, wouldn't understand branding if their lives depended on it. So they use names like S-CHIP. Sheer genius, as I've come to expect from the democratic party's deep thinkers.

The GOP would have called it "The Keep Our Kids Healthy Act" or something catchy like that. Dems, however, chose to continue referring to it by an obscure acronym that sounds like a computer component. No wonder nobody besides those who were seriously screwed by Bushie's predictable veto really gave a shit.

And then, when the veto gave them the opportunity to get out there and trash the little jumped up czarist bastard who's only concern is the welfare of the "haves and have mores" while he remains intentionally oblivious to the plight of poor kids in dire need of access to health care...

Great opportunity. And they were silent. They just sat down and shut up and took their defeat with a resignation that suggests they're hard wired to accept constant failure, which is just about the last characteristic you want in an opposition party.

If I didn't know better, I'd think democrats were bought and paid for by the same malevolent corporate bastards who've given zillions to the GOP to buy their slavish loyalty to all things corporate and underwrite their campaign of sabotaging all initiatives that might actually improve the lives of the proletariat.

And yes, I'm getting a little goddamn sick of this corrupt, collaborating group of center-right reactionaries who have stolen the only political voice the people still had in this banana republic of corporate dominance and world-beating wealth distribution inequity.

Can we at least get rid of Pelosi and Hoyer this November? That's not so much to ask.
