The oil industry is soaking us... the lack of national healthcare and failure to keep up with trends has American manufacturers off-shoring factories... people can't afford cars and he's only looking to get a job as an auto designer?

Look, I've been in similar situations as the Remenars. My husband starts a new job next week after having been out of work for two months, but he didn't limit himself, which gave him more opportunities.

I don't know what degree Mike has, but I would assume he could use it in another industry. I'm sure it's some sort of CAD-related degree. Those are VERY MUCH IN DEMAND down South. The family could move. I know it's hard, but if you have a limited degree, sometimes you have to.

Of course, they'd have to sell their house, which might be impossible.

Good luck to these folks, but I just don't see how he'll find another job like what he had.
