1. No the insurance co. were allowed to get away with a lot of shit after
2004 and 2005. They have powerful lobbying forces for politicians. They do not want to pay out. They want their stockholders to be happy. Look how much money they have made with 2 years of low activity and higher premiums. Home and Auto insurance is as predatory as Health insurance. When people start realizing that their pursuit of life and happiness is a mandatory directive of the govt to ensure that its citizens enjoy a healthy and inhabited life, then we will have home, auto, and health funds that are not making a profit off our tangible lives.
