question is a good one. If he wins the nomination, do we stand by him?

We should. If he is the nominee, then his delegate count at the Denver convention represents a plurality or majority of Democrats just like us who voted for him. Their votes aren't better or worse than ours if ours went to someone else's candidacy.

Also in this current international landscape, we could do a lot worse on foreign policy. Biden, for whatever specific votes you object to about him, has given us many liberal votes over a long period -- all of them valuable -- and knows foreign policy, not an unhandy thing to know after 8 years of the Bush administration, whose foreign policy is being conducted by individuals who are unable to distinguish their nether orifices from a hole in the ground.

This is no time to limit discussion or dialogue on foreign policy. Biden knows his stuff. And he's playing on the blue team.
