I just watched the Presidents speech in Ohio again.

He was as serious as he could be about the havoc the GOP will wreak if they get the majorities again. What I saw was a man who is giving it his all, day in and day out, to move this country forward against odds like no president has seen before. He is hated by the right, and sadly by some of the left, and he knows this. But he isn't going to let that stop him from trying, from pissing people off to get things done.

This is the person I voted for in 2004 and in 2008, the guy who honestly cares about the people in this country. I am more inspired every time I hear him because he believes in what he tells us. He didn't just make this stuff up when he ran for president, it's in him, it is him. President Obama is the real thing and most of this country will never know what they missed.

I know I'm a cheerleader, I've done it since 2003. I like to tell people that I chose Barack Obama to be president the first time I heard him speak and met him. His ideas were already mine, he spoke of what I believe in. I don't think he's perfect, far from it. But he has heart.
