own houses, cars, or have health care and pensions. Working people should not aspire to such extravagance. He keeps asking, "Who would pay for it?" Like working people should not be able to afford houses, cars, medical treatment, or retirement.

It seems clear the right wing's plan for the average American's retirement is to give (I meant loan) them a shovel, tell them to dig a hole . . . and then lie down in it.
