16. I don't know about you...
...but as an obese person all my life, and nerdy member of the chess team as well I was frequently picked on by people. The worst of which was the small guys. There was this one kid who had a real napoleon complex who would throw whatever he didn't like from the lunch his mother packed for him at me on the way to school on the bus. I can't remember how many carrot sticks of radishes got stuck in my hair as kid but it was more than the usual. There was another small person who decided it would be fun to throw mud and me when I just got a brand new down filled coat as I walked home.

It did slow up a bit in junior year in high school when one normal sized bully found out the hard way that I had been training in martial arts for years. He charged at me after study hall after I made a sarcastic reply to an insult he said to me. I reacted instinctively as I was startled. The only reason I did not pound his head into a concrete pillar is it happened outside the teachers lounge and one of my favorite teachers yelled my name and stop real loud and it broke me out of my blind rage. Real silly thing about it was even though the guy who attacked me had been suspended for fighting before he was not suspended or expelled because of a stupid 'equal punishment' policy for fighting. Like I had a choice in the fight. So we both spent a week in after school detention.

So from personal experience many people pick on the big guys knowing frequently that can't run as fast and more frequently they are held to a higher standard because of their size.
