I think my own living situation illustrates on the problems with beck’s attitude. I rent in a house that is a two family rental property. The owner does not live in the area. Every once in a while I get a notice posted on the door saying that a service like water or trash collection isn’t paid. Once I let the owner know about the notice he pays it before the service is terminated. If one of the services was a critical service like fire fighting and the house catches fire I’m screwed.

Now that I’ve given that example one has to ask what kind of mindset do you have to have that this kind of thing even becomes a topic of debate? It takes a bitter, selfish mind.
