This is called the "body" of the message. That thing that you have been typing in is the "header" or "title". It's OK to continue your thoughts in the body of the message when you run out of room in the header, in fact, it's much preferred.

Now that you've been informed of how this complex and arcane system works, you won't have to clutter up a thread with twenty posts that are nothing but titles.
