10. Bend over Republicans
The Rove thing is the best example. I was just discussing that with my VERY Republican neighbor this morning. For the record, he is a wonderful guy and a close friend and we are seriously considering having a blue/red paintball war on election day. Anyway, the GOP depends on stupid people, ones who don't have the capacity to recall something a "dough head" like Rove said three weeks ago and contrast it with the directly opposing statements of today. That's why Rove is popular with the GOP machine - he knows the base is founded on morons and he has no problem contradicting himself because he knows it doesn't matter. Repeat a lie over and over....

In the local paper today, they quoted an individual from Camp Hill, PA (who I will not name), you can find it online at pennlive.com, who at first seemed like a potentially moderately intelligent but very far right Republican. Then he was quoted as saying "I only really watch FOX" and all was revealed. Why hasn't the FEC, or the FCC for that matter, taken up the issue of having a 24x7 GOP commercial on cable? Is FOX a 527? Not last I checked.
