Solving all the problems the Bush administration is leaving us will take a long time, probably at least as long as two Obama terms, perhaps longer. Every stumble, every misstep and Obama will be viciously attacked from the right. Will we, given our short attention spans and our need for instant gratification, give him the time he'll need to try to get us back on track?
