5. People on here have defended the kid?
I find that hard to believe, although anything would surprise me.

I will say that politics by and large should be kept out of the classroom except in a discussion forum where the kids are allowed to give/explain their opinions. But teachers should probably keep it to themselves. But that's not an ideological thing rather than I think the best teachers direct and facilitate discussion rather than voice opinions on things.
