13. Someday there could be a nuclear war in South Asia, or wherever.
But I'm more worried about energy supplies and global warming. It is going to become more and more clear in the next decade that the environment is the major story, as bad droughts and many other environmental problems threaten our food supply. Also, our energy-profligate ways cannot continue forever; even the "cornucopians" think peak oil happens in only 3 decades. The wars that do happen will be more and more clearly related to the environment. E.g., in the middle east, rapidly growing populations may go to war over the very limited amount of water available. Actually, this has already been going on: Rwanda/Burundi was closely related to environmental pressures, as described in Collapse, by Jared Diamond.

So if you're alluding to the theory that the super-wealthy simply do not give a fuck about the health of the planet or the economy, they just want to get theirs while the getting is good (then retreat to heavily guarded private communities) -- this alas is all too believable.
