You are onto something because I get the impression there is a reluctance to impeach, not because he doesn't deserve it but out of fear that impeachment would be such a damaging body blow to U.S. economy and status around the world on top of 9/11, Iraq and all the damaging things Bush and Cheney have already done. There are some who believe it was for the good that Bush "won" in 2004 so that all the fallout from his and Cheney's rotten schemes and Repub corruption would get exposed and force them to have accountability.

I don't agree with those who fear impeachment. I think a thorough housecleaning is in order and it would be quite healthy for this country if they were forced to resign in disgrace so we could have a renewal.
