For full disclosure.
I stopped being a Ted Kennedy fan since his unfortunate incident. I am old enough to remember very well what happened. I followed it closely and never fully satisfied with the outcome

I find it very difficult to see him get morally outraged since he never fully held accountable for Mary Joe's death. He made a tragic error in judgment and used his family name and power to get away from the consequences of his actions. I don't care what party he belongs to. Is he a good senator? The people of Mass have to live with him. I could not in good conscience vote for the man.

1. Ted is a drunk or was one. He is to be commended for keeping himself sober and clean.

2. I have no idea what Laura Bush has to do with Ted Kennedy. Laura Bush killed someone when she was a teenager. She didn't run away or make excuses. She didn't have a family name to make her problem go away. She wasn't drunk when it happened. She didn't leave the scene of the accident.

I like the lady despite the butt wipe she is married too. It's unfortunate to drag her name into this.

Now her former drinking coke head husband is a whole other story.
