Just looking at one of those drugs, Zyloprim (Allopurinol), one of the explicit warnings are (from http://www.drugs.com/cons/Zyloprim.html) :
Allopurinol may cause some people to become drowsy or less alert than they are normally. Make sure you know how you react to this medicine before you drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert .

IN NO WAY should Cheney even have ONE GLASS OF BEER with this stuff. But I'll Ask It ANYWAY: Was Alcohol Involved? And better yet, Were Cheney's MEDS INVOLVED?!?!
