What I resented were the implications-- 1) that NOT doing this somehow means I do not support our troops (one of them being my husband), and 2) that people like me (i.e., people who are opposed to the war) are some kind of un-American minority.

I take offense to your telling me to "get a grip"--I said nothing that warranted that remark.
