In case you're not paying attention, which you're not. Flying is uncomfortable for the person you think should not be allowed to fly moreso than it is for you to accomodate them.
wanna see? here's an experiment. pull up your knees until they are about chest level. pull them towards you so that they are within an arm's lenghth. Pull your elbows into your sides like a bird. so that the only you can move your arms is from the elbows up. Now hold it for 4 hours.
