Ok, so this may be a bit tin-foily, but is it possible this is more about the Great Game than it is about weather?
Are they trying to cut Iranian oil revenue to punish the Iranians for messing with Suni's in Iraq?
Are they trying to punish the Iraqi Shiite leaning government?
Are they trying to set up a surplus to offset supply interruptions that would result from an attack on Iran?
The Saudis aren't stupid, they know how to maintain equillibrium in supply and support a predetermined price--are we being stupid to accept that it's all about a warm northern winter?
