17. Low-carb diets are brilliant, and there's nothing "fad" about them
Eating around 60 carbs a day is doctor-recommended treatment for helping diabetics. I have no doubt that this diet, too, is healthy for people who have the kind of body that stores fat, has high insulin, or is at risk for adult-onset diabetes.

I eat low-carb, and I've never felt better. Of course, I eat tons of nuts, seeds, cultured milk products, vegetables, fruit, a few grains, and some cheese, meat and eggs. I feel like a million goddamned dollars, have lost weight -- and I don't think I'm getting any more stupid.
