CHICAGO -- A Chicago-area soldier who served two tours of duty in Afghanistan said he'll fight his orders to serve in combat for a third time.

Army Sgt. Steven Henderson received a letter earlier this month calling him back to active duty, NBC5's Natalie Martinez reported.

Henderson, who has a fiancée in Ecuador who he said he plans to marry in the Untied States pending the processing of her visa, said he was prepared to face the consequences of not going to Iraq. Those consequences include having his honorable discharge possibly changed to a dishonorable discharge, a loss of military benefits, and maybe even time in jail.

"I have no intentions of going to Iraq," said the 34-year-old Henderson, who has been on inactive reserve for two years. "The main thing that I am concerned about is that I haven't been trained for almost two years. I haven't worn a uniform -- I haven't picked up a weapon."
