..a moment to say thank you for all of the beautiful sentiments and prayers for the family of this young man. I am a conservative and registered only to thank you folks for your kind words and to note that a bridge has been crossed between two very different worlds with the news of the loss of this family's child. For at least a moment, conservatives and liberals have come together to send comforting words and thoughts to a family suffering an unimaginable loss, and it does my heart good tonight to see and feel that - especially this close to the Christmas season. Perhaps someday - at a more appropriate time, his family will know that and find some comfort in that one little thing.

I know that I'm not the only conservative who has read your thread and felt this way. And yes, "vwcat", we saw your visit and no one considered you a troll. Your kind words were greatly appreciated at our thread.
