9. Is whoever said that in good health and under age 42?
Ask him/her why they haven't enlisted yet. Ask why all able-bodied supporters of the Bush regime and it's foreign policy aren't lining up at the recruiting offices.

They like to compare the current debacle to WW2. Well, during that war EVERYONE pitched in. There were movie actors who enlisted or got commissioned and fought. Everyone else made sacrifices by curtailing their fuel use and rationing food and supplies. The rich got taxed heavily and the middle class bought bonds to pay for the war.

And now? We get hit by terrorists and the President tells people to go shopping. Then mortgages our future to give huge tax CUTS to the wealthy while lavishing money on cronies with no-bid contracts. So-called patriotic Americans slap yellow ribbon magnets on ginormous SUVs.

So some numbnuts thinks the draft should be instituted. Does said numbnuts also support disallowing like college deferments so that young Dick Cheney types won't be able to avoid combat?
