My response to a friend when he said that CNN.com was replaying footage from 9/11 today.

Reminded myself of a certain Vietnam vet who said the same when someone asked if he was going to see a movie about the war.

I get what he meant now.

What glimpses I've caught this week before turning the channel have already had me in tears. Why would I need to relive the broadcasts of that day. The documentaries are already hard enough, with their footage of the attack coupled with the recollections of survivors.

I hope CNN knows that showing me this stuff doesn't make me feel like supporting the President's version of the war on terror.

It only makes me wonder why Osama bin Forgotten.
