What counts for the switch in gas is more the humidity and the temps at night. Last few weeks we were 102/80 now it more 95/72. When it cools at night a bit that lets the air clean out some also the lower the humidity the quicker it cleans out. If the air cleans itself overnight not as much need for the cleaner gas. It's really one of those things they have to pick a date as best they can.
