The mind boggles.

I'm wondering something here: I have some close family members who are Jewish and I love them dearly (they're the very few other members of my family who are Democrats). Damn, how come none of us ever knew I was anti-semitic? I mean, the poster from that forum said I was, and he also said I'm a terrorist sympathizer too. How did I manage to miss that about myself all these years? Huh. I guess all the rest of y'all are anti-semitic and terrorist supporters too. Whew, aren't you glad someone finally explained us to ourselves? Who knew?

The irony of that particular talking point - that Democrats are anti-semitic - is that while the wingnuts claim to support Israel, they don't actually like Jews themselves. Israel is an abstract to them; Jewish people, however, are a flesh and blood reality who they only care about as long as they're not living in their neighbourhoods or sending their kids to school with little Christian children.

Another thing I don't get, and maybe it's because I'm not in the US, is how do these idiots all get on the same page so quickly? Democrats = anti-semites is popping up everywhere. At first I laughed at it because it was so obviously stupid, but now it's worrying.

Finally, I'd like to see that asshole try to "come down" on us "Democrat traitors" in Europe. Bring it on, fuckwit.
