This is not a hostile post, so please read on.

I got slammed here yesterday for saying that the irrational hatred of Israel is rooted in anti-Semitism and hatred toward Jews. I wouldn't back off on that statement, because I won't deny that anti-Semitism exists. and frequently rears it's head whenever the topic of Israel is being considered. A Jewish woman in Seattle got killed Friday because she was Jewish, not because she was responsible for the actions of Israel or the US as nations. Nevertheless, the killer claimed Israel's current actions as his "reason".

But we do have to be allowed to criticize Israel for it's actions as a nation without always having it implied that our motivation is anti-Semitism. I would really like to here how you think this could be done. Thanks!
