29. There is far more anti-semitism in the US...it is just hidden
here in Western PA, I have heard statements that would curl your toes...
My family came from Eastern Europe where anti-semitism was the norm...the Jews were scapegoated for a host of things...from plague to bad crops.. The old people in my family are still very distrustful of anything having to do with Jews...even though some of my cousins have married Jews...(some were cut off for doing so...)
Just when I thought the old stereotypes would die...you see it all erupt again...it is all very sad.
