Question: Why does Mr. Whittington say Friday?

Just as I'm ready to move on from this train wreck, I did a double take when Mr. Whittington said that the accident occured last Friday.

Here's the video... also, take a look at the guy over Mr. Whittington's shoulder when he says, "Friday" -- seems a bit stunned, too:
