There could not be a clearer-cut case of a President trying to destroy the Constitution than Bush, with his "war powers" and crazed signing statements. He has literally declared that the Congress and Courts have no jurisdiction over him - that they are only advisors.

Yet virtually nobody wants to impeach Bush and throw him out of office. Hell, most Congressional "Democrats" don't even want to censure him!!! Many of the same "Democrats" were happy to censure Clinton for lying under oath about sex. Thus, I can only conclude that, to most in Congress, and to those who elect them, perjury about a personal issue is a far, far more serious crime than an orchestrated frontal assault on the Constitution.
